New Home

Brandon and Ethan loved their new brother.
They loved holding him.
Tom and I were busy with our new baby and with selling our house and packing it up. And to top it all off - we got a puppy. A St. Bernard we named Sulley. We had gone to Tom's uncle's farm and picked him out. It was so fun to watch Ethan and Brandon roll around with a bunch of puppy St. Bernards. Sulley was fun to have. He started out the same size as our other dog Justin. He was a bichon. But Sulley grew and grew and grew.
Our new home was finished being built in January of 2002.
Moving was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. We had so much more room compared to our other house.
We quickly got to know a lot of our neighbors. It's easy when you are all new to the neighborhood. Brandon started riding a school bus for Kindergarten. You know, children learn a lot of things on a school bus. A lot of things you were trying not to let them learn before.
Me and a few of the other mothers in the neighborhood started having coffee playdates together. We would switch homes every week. It was a great way to get to know each other and have our children form friendships with each other. I am a fairly quiet person, but I was determined to get out of my comfort zone. I wanted to meet other mothers and make friends.
